In fall 2002 COVA members toured Southwestern Ontario, and in 2003 we toured the Eastern Townships of Quebec. The 2004 tour will be in Prince Edward County of Ontario. (Tentatively, we will tour Georgian Bay vineyards in 2005.)

This insider's tour has been arranged by Debra Marshall, the County-born lady who has been on the PECWA Board for years, and looks after Robert Thomas Estate Vineyard in Cherry Valley.

Rather than renting a bus this time around, we will all meet in the parking lot of the A&P in Picton on Wednesday September 15th at 9:15 a.m. {Click here for Directions} Note that the A&P is located on the North side of Main Street (Mary Street) between Talbot and Washburn. Zoom in and out as needed. We will be travelling in our own vehicles, and can try to arrange carpooling in advance. Each person is responsible for getting to Picton at their own cost.

10:00 A.M. Sep 15: The first stop on our tour is Black Prince Winery at Picton.

11:15 A.M. Sep 15: The next stop will involve a tour of Huff Estates Winery near Picton.

2:00 P.M. Sep 14: The third stop on our tour is The Grange of Prince Edward near Hillier.

3:30 P.M. Sep 15: The last winery of the day will be By Chadsey's Cairns near Wellington.

After our visit to By Chadsey's Cairns we will travel to Cherry Valley where we will have a barbecue supper and good fellowship on private property. After the dinner we will return to Picton where we will stay overnight at the Harbour Inn.

After breakfast at the Harbour Inn we will check out and head to our first vineyard / winery.

10:00 A.M. Sep 16: The first stop on the 16th is Long Dog Winery at South Bay.

11:30 A.M. Sep 16: The middle winery and lunch will be at County Cider.

1:30 P.M. Sep 16: The final winery on our tour will be Waupoos Estates Winery after which we can all wend our separate ways home.

The only way to reserve a spot on this tour is to pay in advance. The trip is limited to 30 people, and payment must be received by September 1st. Cheques must be made out to "COVA" in the appropriate amount and mailed to:
