LARDY'S WINETASTING NOTES Dry Fruit Wine

"DATE: 08-22-07 Appearance: Light white gold.
Nose: Peach/honey/apricot and light spices (almost like a light vidal icewine nose).
Palate: Off-dry with moderate acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose nicely, it is fresh and fruity indeed. A soft midpalate with a long clean dry finish, and a lovely peach aftertaste.
Conclusions: Not for long keeping, but a very interesting aperitif it would be, it would. Or a wine to serve with white meats and fish. This would be very nice mixed half and half with crushed ice on a hot summer day, with perhaps a bit of fruit juice added to give it a different flavour." lfw
