"DATE: 12-30-07 Appearance: Straw.
Nose: Nose is vegetal/herby/grassy with some citrus fruit notes.
Palate: Dryish with moderate to good acidity, midweight plus. Honeyed indeed, with the flavours being more fruit-driven than the nose suggests, though those qualities are present. Fruit is almost tropical midpalate, and the wine has a good clean finish, with some richness showing.
Conclusions: Not for long keeping (drink before 2010), this would be extremely useful in social situations (perhaps a really good choice for wedding white wine?). Would also work well with the usual white wine foods, nothing too hot or spicy." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Our Sauvignon Blanc exhibits a bouquet promising citrus with a hint of rose. It offers flavours typical of Sauvignon Blanc: gooseberries, green apple and citrus and charmingly adds red bell pepper. Surprisingly enjoyable is the crisp finish with lingering notes of honey."
