"RETASTED: 07-14-07 Appearance: Garnet with mahogany forming.
Nose: Nose is essentially the same, add a hint of chocolate and an earthy component.
Palate: See below, nose is catching up to the palate two years later, signifying maturity. Chocolate is hitting on the midpalate now. Very nice finish.
Conclusions: Ready now (see below) and could last longer than originally predicted." lfw

"DATE: 05-11-05 Appearance: Ruby with some brick at the rim.
Nose: Sweet oak, red pepper, plum, raspberry, harmonious aromatics.
Palate: Dry with moderate acidity, almost a heavyweight, very big for the vintage. Palate is more developed than the nose, with more earthy elements being added to those promised on the nose. Very well balanced at a high level (big in many ways). Long clean finish.
Conclusions: Nice Bordeaux / Meritage blend. Big wine given the year and percentage of Cab Franc. Almost ready for prime time, and will hold until its 10th birthday. Nicely done - big yet already drinkable." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"This wine is a true Bordeaux. It is a blend of our very best grapes. 60% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Barrel aged 24 months in oak. Cellaring recommended."
