Nose: Honey, peaches, spices, cranberry.
Palate: Sweet with refreshing acidity, heavyweight. Absolutely correct cranberry tart/bitterness is enough to overpower the sweetness at the beginning. Just when your mouth is almost numb from the powerful attack the secondary flavours start to show up. The nose is almost backwards, suggesting that the cranberry flavours are light, which couldn't be further from the reality. Enormously long clean finish.
Conclusions: As a confirmed cranberry lover (I eat them not-yet-ripe from the bushes and enjoy the experience) I can easily say that this is my favourite wine from Crown Bench, and many of them are excellent. If you know a cranberry lover, do them an enormous favour and get this wine!" lfw
