"DATE: 12-31-07 Appearance: Deep purple.
Nose: Cran/blueberry, cassis, green pepper and an herbaceous note.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Big fruit on the attack, palate nicely following the nose, with nicely integrated oak. Lightish dusty tannins on a somewhat silky midpalate, with the tannins increasing in presence through the long dry finish.
Conclusions: Another good foch from D'Angelo, grown to full ripeness in the heat of the Southwest. Could be kept up to eight years, best now with flavourful foods. Great BBQ wine, or with Italian fare containing tomatoes and spices." lfw
