"DATE: 11-28-08 Appearance: Deep ruby almost purple.
Nose: Intense blackberry, red currant, blueberry, floral and herbal notes.
Palate: Sweet with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding silky notes and richness on the midpalate. Great long clean sweet finish. Nice spice on the aftertaste.
Conclusions: More proof that red hybrid grapes can make superb icewine style products. This tastes better than most Cab Franc Icewines, is bigger, with better extract, better acid/sugar balance and simply more balls. Should be good for at least ten years. This cannot be called Icewine due to regulations, we obviously need fewer regulations." lfw
