"DATE: 03-30-07 Appearance: Deep ruby/purple.
Nose: Cherry, plum, cranberry, clean and inviting.
Palate: Dry with moderate acidity, midweight plus. Nice plummy fruit on the attack, with light tannins and moderate alcohol nicely balancing the fruit and extract. Some softness midpalate, long clean dry finish. Wine shows none of the negative herbaceousness you sometimes encounter in inexpensive foch/baco wines.
Conclusions: Great value in house red! This is less than $6 per bottle, and is real wine. Could last two or three years, but tastes great right now. Not big enough for strongly flavoured foods, but try it with burgers or dogs off the bbq, and don't be afraid to give it a light chill on a summer day (10 minutes in the fridge)." lfw
