Nose: Rich sweet maple nose, smokey aromas and all.
Palate: Sweet with soft acidity, heavyweight. Big maple on the palate (like early run syrup, more elegant than heavy) with rich mouthfeel and a long clean finish.
Conclusions: Very easy to think of this as Maple Icewine, although there is no basis to this thought other than concentrated flavours. To think of it, it is the opposite. Icewines are concentrated by cold, maple syrup by fire. Almost want to pour this on a pancake..." lfw
