Tech Information: 04-13-07 $ 14.95 (S: 0 A: 13) Winery

"DATE: 04-15-07 Appearance: Mahogany.
Nose: Cherry, plum, sweet oak, cedar, leather and chocolate and an earthy note.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Blackcurrant joins the flavours promised on the nose, with rich mouthfeel and ripe tannins. Long clean finish adds spicy complexity.
Conclusions: Good value maturing blend has still a couple of years to go, but is ready to drink now. Not often that you get mature cab blends at this price anymore." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Grown principally on the Beamsville Bench, this wine is a blend of the great Bordeaux varieties-Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of black cherry, plum and spicy oak are followed by red berry flavours on the palate. Lingering notes of cassis and tobacco provide a satisfying finish."
