Formal Education

I have at times been asked what formal training I have to be able to back my verbose opinions. Well...

1972: Graduated from Adam Scott Collegiate & Vocational Institute, Peterborough, with Grade 13

1975: Graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College, Peterborough, with 3-year Business Administration Diploma, General Option

1991: Completed five-level program of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario. My work experience, largely in unpaid operations outside my LCBO employment, was deemed barely insufficient to earn the CMA designation, with all other requirements thereto fulfilled.

1996: Certificate of Achievement, Grape & Wine Production, University of Guelph

1997: Certificate, Wine and Spirit Education Trust, London, England

1998: Higher Certificate with Distinction, Wine and Spirit Education Trust, London, England

LCBO Product Knowledge I, II and III, as well as Service Knowledge

Designed and taught Ontario Wine Certificate Certification programs at Sir Sandford Fleming College in the 1990's.
