"DATE: 12-30-07 Appearance: Purple with mahogany tints.
Nose: Lovely nose of red peppers, sweet cherry, plum, spicy oak with hints of cranberry. Nose seems to be dominated by the minority Cab Franc.
Palate: Dry with good to fresh acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose, adding a fresh tannic midpalate, and a long clean very dry finish.
Conclusions: Nice blend is a good choice with a gourmet pizza right now, but in three years will come together as a mellow, silky drink." lfw
