"DATE: 11-21-08 Appearance: Purple.
Nose: Blackberry, plum, cherry, red pepper, light cassis and sweet oak.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Palate nicely follows the nose. Ripe fruit on the attack, with some richness on the midpalate, and light dusty tannins showing on the long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Nice food wine, would love this on a hot summer day beside a loaded burger from the bbq. Should go five years, nice now, richer in a couple of years, and softer." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"This rich, plummy blend of Baco Noir and Cabernet Franc has a rustic and honest character. Enjoy it in a big glass with everyday foods- lasagne, chicken or anything off the BBQ. Makes your burger taste like a gourmet dinner and gladdens the heart."
