Nose: Sweet intense Gewurz nose, lychee, spices, mineral and floral. Very clean and inviting, fruity rather than oily style.
Palate: Dry with moderate acidity, midweight plus. Palate follows the nose, and the acid balance is better than most gewurz. There is almost an orange zest character on the midpalate. Very long clean dry finish with just the right touch of gewurztraminer bitterness.
Conclusions: Fruity/attractive now, but in five years this should develop into one of those heavy gewurz-lovers' stand-alone sippers. Best now with spicy and hot foods, but not too cold please!" lfw
