"DATE: 05-04-07 Appearance: Cranberry.
Nose: Rich cranberry nose is true to the fruit, and adds some lovely spiciness as well as suggesting sweetness.
Palate: Off-dry with refreshing acidity, midweight. Lovely cranberry tartness is absolutely bang-on (like picking ripe berries from the bush in late October). Strawberry and blackberry flavours complement the main show, there is a refreshing dryness to the finish from dusty tannins and typical cranberry bitterness.
Conclusions: Bang-on cranberry wine that would be perfect with the big bird at Thanksgiving, or in any situation for those who love cranberries." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"As a salute to his background running a gourmet butcher shoppe, David has created the perfect accompaniment to a poultry dinner- Featherstone's Cranberry Wine. This cranberry wine captures the vivid freshness of cranberries grown and harvested among Muskoka's beautiful lakes and granite outcroppings. The wine's balance of tart cranberry characteristics is off set by a little sweetness, making it an excellent match with traditional roast turkey, chicken or pork. 200 cases produced."
