"DATE: 04-14-07 Appearance: Straw.
Nose: Tropical and citrus fruit with spicy oak, butter and the beginnings of that positive vegetal complexity that good chardonnays develop.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Big fruit, butterscotch, vanilla, a doughy/yeasty character and lushness midpalate. Nicely integrated spicy oak. Earthy vegetal character is beginning to show up as well. Very good long clean finish.
Conclusions: Big and elegant style of chard with good ageing potential. In three years this will do well in tastings with good chardonnay from anywhere." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Pineapple, vanilla and caramel aromas, gorgeous notes of butter, toast and vanilla integrated together giving this full-bodied Chardonnay a long buttery fresh finish."
