"DATE: 04-11-09 tasted during 2009 Ontario Wine Awards Judging
Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Sweet dried fruit, nutty, spicy oak, light herbal tones.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate follows the nose. Soft ripe fruit and some maturing flavours on the midpalate, with a very good clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Nicely maturing Cab Sauv from a lesser year is still good through 2012, and is starting to become quite suitable to many food situations. By late 2010 it could become quite a treat. Acid is a hint high so serve it slightly warmer." lfw
