"DATE: 11-20-08 Appearance: Light green gold.
Nose: Peach pie with lemon/lime, grapefruit and light dried fruit.
Palate: Medium sweet with moderate acidity, midweight plus. Palate is fruitier than the nose, with silky creamy notes on the midpalate and a very long clean finish. Aftertaste is of dried fruit.
Conclusions: Unique wine made partially from dried grapes capable of going eight years (a guess on my part, first experience, low alcohol and moderate acid against this, great extract and general cleanliness in favour of ageworthiness). May be at its best lightly chilled by itself, or with not-too-sweet desserts (and why not the kind of biscotti that you'd have with amarone?)." lfw
