"DATE: 01-01-08 Appearance: Deep ruby.
Nose: Red peppers, grassy, herbal, sweet cherry, mineral with spicy oak.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Big cab franc nicely follows the palate, with dusty tannins and rich mouthfeel on the midpalate, and a good clean drying finish.
Conclusions: Developing nicely, still has five years or more in front of it. Great companion to rare cuts of good meat, will become silkier and softer with age, and become a nice wine to have by itself in front of the fireplace on a cold winter night." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"A deep red colour with a complex nose that includes hints of cigar box, leather and cedar. This wine is full bodied and well integrated. Released in February 2007, it is ready for consumption but may be aged 3-5 years."
