"DATE: 01-01-08 Appearance: Deep garnet.
Nose: Big cassis, cedar, sweet oak, chocolate, raspberry, olive and violets. Complex and intriguing.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Nicely maturing palate matches the nose, with ripe tannins showing midpalate along with some richness and softness. Very good long clean finish.
Conclusions: Nicely developing partly mature Cab Sauv that still has five years in front of it. Would be a treat with a good (rare) steak right now, but it is also interesting enough to drink alone on a cold winter night." lfw
