LARDY'S WINETASTING NOTES Medium Bodied Red Wine

TGI Frontenac
Tech Information: 07-17-07 $

"DATE: 08-17-07 Appearance: Purple.
Nose: Black cherry, a "grapey" character, dark fruit, fresh, light oak nuances.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, mid to heavyweight. Big flavours follow the nose, adding a cran/blueberry fruitiness to the mix. Soft and rich midpalate, with a good clean finish.
Conclusions: Good wine for tomato-based dishes (spaghetti, pizza etc) which should also age very well for at least five years, gaining complexity and sacrificing the youthful grapiness." lfw
