Items of business:

a) Election of Officers - the executive members were unanimously approved for re-election.

b) No Constitutional items were discussed.

c) Club Competition 2009 - In conjunction with the Kawartha Krushers the Growwine competition will be held on Sunday March 8th, 2009 at Larry's house, which will follow the Krushers competition the previous day. We will probably enter fewer wines and cut down on travel costs for judges.

d) Malolactic Testing - this is funded by the club, and requires only 1 or 2 ml of your wine to see if this is ongoing. Please contact Larry for assistance.

e) The club membership dues were set at $30.00 for all people except new members ($25).

f) We will again hold a pro-am tasting in the winter at Larry's place, details to follow.

g) Future meetings: November 29 at Paul Ward's in Lakefield, a pro-am tasting January 18 at Larry's, a February meeting at the Kerr's, March at the Reeves, May at the Kimmett's, and the competition. Roger and Eila will again host the club picnic in July.

h) A request for spending requests met with two items being approved:

1) up to $450 for a crusher / destemmer

2) up to $125 for a good pH meter to be kept in the western end of the club membership.
