"DATE: 07-14-07 Appearance: Ruby with mahogany forming at the rim.
Nose: Mature slightly earthy cab franc shows peppers, dark berries, spicy oak and a mineral quality.
Palate: Dry with moderate to good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, ripe tannins and sweet oak notes midpalate. Long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Good value in mature cab (how old do you like your cheese?). This could hold another year or two but is ready to go. Try this with medium to well-done red meats, with stinky cheese or by itself if you like mature flavours." lfw
