"DATE: 07-14-07 Appearance: Deep ruby/purple.
Nose: Clean and complex nose shows cassis, spicy oak, raspberry, cranberry, plum, leather and chocolate.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Fruit-driven palate follows the nose with slightly lifted flavours midpalate. Ripe tannins and rich mouthfeel lead to a long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Bordeaux-ish wine would probably do well in a blind tasting with top Bordeaux in another three years, and should reach 12 years of age easily. Right now it is best with flavourful red meat dishes, but in five years it will become a stand-alone wine." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Dark garnet colour with intense aromas of dark chocolate, ripe plum, cedar and mint. Full bodied, and well balanced with a nice fleshy mid-palate and a firm finish. The wine has a good structure with well integrated ripe tannins. The palate shows rich plum, blackcurrant and cedar."
