"DATE: 08-17-06 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Deep dark raspberry fruit, mellowing smoky oak, bits of chocolate and leather, quite fresh and interesting.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Flavours follow the nose well, some richness midpalate, add vanilla midpalate, long clean finish.
Conclusions: A modern cab merlot with a refreshing fruit-and-acid-driven profile that would serve well with flavourful foods now. This should also see 2009 in good shape." lfw
