"DATE: 12-31-07 Appearance: Light straw with golden glints.
Nose: Baked apple, butter, spicy oak, pear/peach/apricot undertones and a nutty character.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Big palate follows the nose, adding a nice mineral character, round/soft mouthfeel on the midpalate, and a long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Elegant rather than forceful, rich fruit, not heavy oak is the story of this wine. Capable of eight years in a good cellar, developing character all the way, becoming funkier/rich at the end. Great companion at a black tie dinner, try this with a nice roasted chicken dish." lfw
