"DATE: 12-30-07 Appearance: Lemon.
Nose: Pear/apricot with honeyed and nutty aromas.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding some richness and more citrusy notes midpalate, and a clean almost zesty mineral touch on the finish.
Conclusions: Very good choice with many white wine foods, this is very much what I think of as a good white house wine. It can flip from social to food situations, and be comfortable at both, and would not be out of place with lighter to medium flavoured foods in fancier situations. Not for long ageing, drink by 2010." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Innocence and Purity. Let our 100% county-grown Pinot Gris entertain you. Our 2006 version is characterized by delicate apple, pear, almond and honeyed aromas punctuated with subtle notes of citrus and melon. A backbone of acidity on a distinctly mineral frame weaving through to a crisp finish renders this Huff Estates selection as the ideal summer aperitif wine."
