"08-16-06 Appearance: Inky purple/black.
Nose: Deep brooding nose with bits of tobacco, a syrah-like meatiness, dark berries and bits of oak and spice.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Big flavours follow the nose, rich midpalate, long clean finish. Not a lot of tannin in this wine.
Conclusions: I suspect that this wine would age up to 10 years, gradually mellowing and softening, but I'm not sure. It should go at least five. Try this wine with spicy foods, or those with lots of tomato paste." lfw
