Comments from Alain Breault.: Delisle (ES 7-5-41) Ripens very early, bunches and berries are medium-small. To date Delisle is disease free in Quebec with some leaf phyloxxera. Needs very long pruning because the buds are not very fertile. The wine produced is complex, excellent even if picked at lower than 18o Brix. Overripe grapes have a strong petrol character, which may be too much for some tasters.
