Comments from Alain Breault      ES 4-7-25 is related to St-Croix. It has been disease free so far in Quebec, but must be carefully pruned because it is extremely fertile, needs bunch thinning some years. Average vigor, growth is semi-erect, bunches and berries are medium sized, with thin skins and very juicy. Maturity is early when cropload is reduced (takes some work to avoid overloading!). Wine is light in color, with a very complex fruitiness, and quite useful for making rosé too.
