Comments from Alain Breault.: (Vandal 84-14) Early enough to ripen in the Quebec city area most years. Extremely productive, yields of 10 tons/acre are realistic. Moderately sensitive to Downey Mildew, Anthracnose, Phomopsis. Buds are overly fertile, so careful pruning and sucker removal is necessary. Can give the best and the worst in the wine, to avoid "foxy" taste, pick before fully ripe.
