"DATE: 08-19-07 Appearance: Pale lemon, very clear given the age of the wine.
Nose: Good maturing spicy gewurz notes of lychee, rose petal and even something like brown sugar thrown in, complex and inviting.
Palate: Dryish with softish acidity, midweight. Mature flavours follow the nose, soft and easy-going, pillowy even. Finish is drying out, as is the wine.
Conclusions: Fully mature wine is ready to go - do not age this wine further. Enjoy it now for what it is, a memory of the great summer of 2001." lfw
