LARDY'S WINETASTING NOTES Medium Bodied Red Wine

2004 Chambourcin
Tech Information: 03-19-07 $ 14.95 (S: 0 A: 12) Winery

"DATE: 03-23-07 Appearance: Ruby with hints of brown at the rim.
Nose: Cherry/plum/raspberry.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Clean fruit-driven wine is lovely from start to the good clean finish.
Conclusions: Another example of a well-made hybrid red from Joseph's, who seem to have a deft touch with these sometimes-difficult heritage varieties. Nicely done, this could go to 2009 easily, and would really do well wherever you would consider Beaujolais or Valpolicella wines." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Medium-bodied ruby coloured red wine with forward cherry notes and aromatic fruity flavours. Compliments most meat and pasta dishes as well as pizza & soft cheeses."
