wine chemistry at work Tech Information: 04-09-08 $ 14.95 (S: 0 A: 12) Winery

"DATE: 04-09-08 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Cherry, plum, cassis, sweet oak, a pleasant herbal character.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding a soft/sweet character on the midpalate, with ripe tannins and a big of heat on the finish.
Conclusions: Good value merlot for general purpose usage. Should last four or five years, gaining more complexity with age. Would be really nice with a medium rare steak right now." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Medium-bodied with moderate tannins having aromas of fruit flavours of plum, blueberries & cherries. Serve with red meats, red sauces or medium-strong cheeses."
