"DATE: 10-26-07 Appearance: Purple with the beginnings of brick at the edge.
Nose: A cornucopia of dark fruit with spicy oak, light chocolate, leather and light earthy elements, maturing beautifully.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, heavyweight. Big palate exceeds even this nose, with dusty tannins and rich mouthfeel adding their welcome contributions. Very long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: Monster wine very much in the Bordeaux tradition, in fact this would be a very good choice to put into a Bordeaux competition. Capable of many years in a good cellar, this is world-class wine. Excellent wine from an excellent vintage is still not fully together, and may take another five years to get there, but is excellent now." lfw
