"DATE: 10-26-07 Appearance: Purple.
Nose: Plum, cassis, cigar box / pencil lead, spicy oak, some earthier elements adding to add to the complexity.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight plus. Add earthy and nutty notes with more dark fruit and the palate follows the nose. Ripe tannins and good mouthfeel, long dry finish.
Conclusions: Not quite mature yet (despite the age) this is a wine for five years from now, though it is starting to integrate." lfw
