"DATE: 04-14-07 Appearance: Pale lemon.
Nose: Butter/vanilla notes with pear and apple sharing with a mineral character. Some tropical fruit undertones as well.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Clean fruit (pear/peach/melon/mango) exceeds the nose. Some developing earthiness/complexity midpalate and on the long clean finish.
Conclusions: Nicely maturing unoaked white shows how well unoaked chard can age. Exceptionally clean from colour through tasting, this still has 3-4 years in its future. Look out Chablis! Excellent value." lfw
