"DATE: 08-13-08 Appearance: Deep ruby with light browing at the rim.
Nose: Deep rich nose showing cassis, raspberry, black cherry, plum, smoky oak, chocolate and has a light herbal note.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, heavyweight. Big palate follows the nose. Midpalate is rich, fat, soft and shows lots of ripe tannins. Finish is very long, clean and dry.
Conclusions: Very nice blend with another eight years in its future. A bit more California than Bordeaux, yet capable of standing on the same table comfortably. Black tie dinner material, developing nicely." lfw
