LARDY'S WINETASTING NOTES Medium Bodied Red Wine
2004 Pinot Noir
Tech Information: 04-13-07 $ 18.95 (S: 0 A: 13.9) Winery

"DATE: 04-15-07 Appearance: Ruby with some brick forming.
Nose: Cherry/plum with some spicy oak and a bit of earthiness developing.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Add cran/raspberry, light dark chocolate and beet to the nose and you have a complex pinot. Finish is long and clean and dusty dry.
Conclusions: Maturing pinot still has the fruit to outlast the tannins, developing nicely but with another four years or more in front of it. This is a well-mannered and elegant companion for the dinner table, and in two years will be at its best served alone." lfw
FROM THE PRODUCERS:"OUR 2004 PINOT NOIR HAS A LIVELY NOSE OF VIVID BRIGHT CHERRY AND JASMINE TEA SPICE. THE WINE HAS AN ELEGANT SOFT APPROACH THAT IS FOCUSED, WITH WILD STRAWBERRIES, POMEGRANATE, AND CRANBERRIES."
