"DATE: 06-09-07 Appearance: Inky purple.
Nose: Interesting/complex nose has leather, brett, cassis, raspberry, black cherry, some typical syrah rubber, spicy oak and butter.
Palate: Dry with moderate acidity, heavyweight. Palate follows nose, young-ish. Big mouthfeel, big dusty tannins, big in many ways including extract. Very long clean dry finish.
Conclusions: This was a sample from a specific barrel, so may not be completely true to what will arrive in the bottle. If typical, this will integrate in 3 years and last 10, getting quite funky as it develops." lfw
