"DATE: 08-12-08 Appearance: Straw.
Nose: Sweet oak, baked apple, vanilla and light butterscotch.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, with dusty tannins and rich mouthfeel on the midpalate. Finish is very long, clean and dry with a little warmth.
Conclusions: Mid-range style of chardonnay with wide utility at the table. Should go six years in a good cellar, nice acid balances the weight of the wine and makes it as useful as it is." lfw

Aromas of bright lemon, a touch of pineapple and a hint of maple and melon give way to a rich palate of caramel, smoke and luscious fruit.
