"DATE: 05-09-07 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Big cassis, spice, a sweet herbal/floral character as well.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding the tannins and bitterness midpalate and on the long clean dry finish that you would expect from black currants.
Conclusions: Here is a fruit wine that may be more strongly flavoured (or dry) for many people. It is, however, suitable to use with some strongly flavoured foods, especially where there are sweet vegetables on the table. This could age two or three years, getting a bit richer over time." lfw
