"DATE: 05-09-07 Appearance: Ruby.
Nose: Raspberry pie nose, spices and all.
Palate: Off dry with softish acidity, light to midweight. Much softer and sweeter tasting than expected (tastes more like a 4 than a 1). Sweet raspberry fruit, midpalate richness, long clean dry fruit.
Conclusions: Clean dryish fruit wine with potential at the table (think situations where you might use gamay or a light pinot) or even by itself. The normally sharp acidity one would taste in a dry raspberry wine has been nicely tamed here." lfw
