Nose: Rich strawberry pie with chocolate and coffee aromatics.
Palate: Medium sweet with moderate acidity, midweight plus. Big clean strawberry fruit to start, then the chocolate comes rolling in midpalate, and lasts through the long clean finish.
Conclusions: Excellent example of the heavier style of chocolate flavoured fruit wines, with the two main partners in the wine well balanced to each other. Ageability is uncertain - my homemade chocolate fruit wines seem to go three years then start to fade, but no way of knowing. In any case this is unlikely to last that long near anybody who likes chocolate..." lfw
