"DATE: 06-02-07 Appearance: Light green-gold.
Nose: Lemon-lime, apple/pear and some grapefruit with floral/mineral/light spicy character. Precursors of petrol coming out. Clean, classy and not really developed yet.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Rich and a bit heavy for riesling, the clean palate follows the nose, soft fruit midpalate, long clean austere finish.
Conclusions: Very high quality riesling which needs another three years to start showing its stuff. It has shed the fruitiness of youth, but has not yet developed the in-bottle secondary flavours yet. Will last at least another ten years, developing into a rich stand-alone wine." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Ripe in the nose, with typical Riesling character, this dry wine has good balance in composition and a long finish. It shows excellent structured acidity, is full bodied with citrus notes, fresh green apples and a touch of exotic fruit.

Food Pairing This wine is an ideal partner to delicate fish, oysters and vegetable terrines."
