"DATE: 03-23-07 Appearance: Purple.
Nose: Blueberry/cranberry/raspberry, lightly spicy oak.
Palate: Dryish with good acidity, midweight plus. Big rustic flavours are mellowed here, with goodly tannins and ripe fruit contributing to a softish midpalate and a long clean finish.
Conclusions: Baco has become a sort of cult wine in Ontario, "The" acceptable red hybrid. This is a good modern example of what is happening. This should take up to another five years and get better/richer all the way." lfw

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Baco Noir is a deep ruby red wine that has rich, full-bodied blackberry flavours with hints of smoke and earth undertones, concluded with a long lasting finish.

Food Pairing
Perfect match for robust and flavourful meats, such as steak, venison and duck.
