Nose: Cherry, strawberry, light earthiness.
Palate: Just off-dry with good acidity, midweight. The bit of sugar adds to the fruit on the palate, and makes the midpalate a bit softer and fuller. Nice clean (yes velvety) finish.
Conclusions: Very nice stand-alone summer drinker (slightly chilled) will last a couple of years, getting silkier as it goes. Unusual treatment, but well done. Think soft not sweet." lfw
