"DATE: 03-23-07 Appearance: Straw.
Nose: Apple, pear, butter, vanilla and spicy oak. Elegant rather than forceful.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Richer on the palate than the nose would suggest, tropical fruit adding to the promises on the nose. Rich and soft midpalate and through a long clean finish. Nice alcohol/fruit/acid balance suggesting ageability.
Conclusions: An elegant chard capable of another 4-5 years in a good cellar, will develop funkier/richer and put on some fat in time. Really good now for a vast array of food and social situations, rarely out of place." lfw
