"DATE: 08-25-07 Appearance: Light green gold.
Nose: Peach/apricot, lemon-lime, light mineral/floral nuances.
Palate: Dryish with good acidity, light to midweight. Palate nicely follows the nose, adding more citrusy feeling than the nose suggested, and tasting drier than the stated sugar. Some austerity midpalate, with a good clean lean feeling, and a long clean dry finish. Very good balance of acid/fruit/alcohol.
Conclusions: Worthy successor to the excellent 2005, and I agree with the increase in sugar to match the year. Long-term ageability, perhaps ten to twelve years, maybe more. Will almost certainly develop petrol in six years or so, and be richer in every way. Useful now by itself as an aperitif, or with lighter white meat or fish dishes." lfw

Man that's one big bottle!!FOOD MATCHES: Chef Franklin said "nice duality of fruit and tartness, ideal with charcroute garni (sauerkraut and wine braised sausages and confit of duck) or with nicely roasted pork with pears and shallot."

FROM THE PRODUCERS:"Delicate floral notes, aromas of peach and apricot with a lively zing of lemon lime on the finish."
