Nose: Elegant nose for Sauvignon Blanc with light grassiness, butter and pear/apple/citrus fruit.
Palate: Dry with good acidity, midweight. Richer on the palate than the nose suggests, buttery(light oak?) and citrus character midpalate and on the good clean finish.
Conclusions: Softer style of Sauvignon Blanc rather than the over-the-top New Zealand style (more old-world than new). This is a very food-friendly wine that should be consumed by 2009." lfw
